Where was Hard Broken filmed?
Hard Broken was filmed entirely in Lebanon, mainly in and around Beirut. Production of the first season of this thriller series began in June 2023 under the working title "Black Market" and ran for two months, ending in early September of the same year.
Lebanon offers a vast and varied landscape, although it shares certain similarities with Mediterranean countries. Moreover, Lebanese culture is more liberal, making it easier to shoot scenes that might be unacceptable in other countries.
The vast majority of Hard Broken's key scenes were shot in and around Beirut, the capital of Lebanon. Aerial shots of the cityscape, which includes imposing modern buildings as well as important historical sites, suggest that the production team explored different streets and neighborhoods of the city to film several key scenes with sets suited to the series.
As for the interior scenes, they were mainly shot in real establishments in and around Beirut.
