Film synopsis

The comedy-drama, directed by Bille August, follows a self-proclaimed seduction expert, Mr. Cazotte, who is hired by the kingdom's Grand Duchess to help the Crown Prince learn the ropes of love. However, things don't go according to plan, jeopardizing the crown prince's claim to the throne. Meanwhile, Cazotte attempts to seduce Ehrengard, the maid of honor.
