YouTube extends Creator Music with new AI features

YouTube is expanding its Creator Music feature, announced last year, with new AI functionality in addition to the launch of an AI dubbing tool. Currently, creators can use Creator Music to search for songs, a specific artist or musical genre they want to use in a video. Now, they will be able to use AI tools to facilitate music searches.

Starting next year, YouTube will launch a new feature that works like a music concierge by simply typing a description of the video.

For example, the creator could enter information about the length or type of song they're looking for, and the Creator Music tool will suggest the right track at the right price.

The Creator Music tool lets you search for songs according to a budget

The Creator Music dashboard was originally designed to allow creators to search for songs they had in mind, or to browse collections, genres or moods, then view the associated licensing costs. Creators can search for tracks according to a budget they have set for their project. They can choose to purchase a license after examining the conditions, or opt for a revenue-sharing agreement.

Introduction of IA Aloud's dubbing tool

In addition, YouTube will introduce an AI dubbing tool called Aloud, which will be integrated into YouTube Studio. One click is all it takes to get an AI-generated dub in another language, which the creator can then review before adding it to their video. This tool is currently being tested with selected creators, and will be opened up more widely next year.
