In today's episode, we're joined by Deepka Rana from Northzone to discuss several key topics for the new year:<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Where venture capital is heading in the new year;<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li>The prognosis for startups at different stages of maturity;<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li>Why 2023 was the year of adjustment and why 2024 could be the new norm for venture capital startups;<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li>And the fate of AI in the EU, where regulation is underway (N.B. When we recorded this episode, the first draft of EU AI regulation had not yet been published).<\/li>\n<p>\n<\/p><\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>I think everyone working in startups and venture capital is hoping that 2024 will bring a more favorable macroeconomic environment and plenty of exits. We'll have to wait and see.
